Nice place, decent prices and caring staff. Out of the way but we will be back again.

We've went here for years, and have never had a problem. The office staff has always been wonderful.I recently moved out of state, and my dog still has a 6-month refill of Sentinel at Ridgeville Animal Hospital. Over the pandemic, we started ordering meds through Ridgeville Animal Hospital (rather than the cheaper online options) because I wanted to support local businesses.I called the vet and told them we moved 6 hours away, asked if they could refill my prescription and mail it to me. They refused."Refused?" Okay, weird.I asked if they could mail it to Chewy, and they refused. They said I would need to drive 6 hours to pick up the prescription, and then mail to to Chewy myself.I racked my brain trying to figure out how to get my dog his medicine.I asked if they could mail me the prescription, and they refused. At this point, it's clear that their goal here is to just be unnecessarily difficult, it's so sad, and as a pet lover, it breaks my heart.I'm not sure why they would withhold a pet's medicine like this, but sadly, it is something they do. They COULD have chose to do the right, kind thing. There are no laws preventing them from sending my me pet's prescription. Sadly, they just... didn't. In fact, they proudly say that withholding it is part of their "corporate policy".Vets in the state I moved to are booked solid, and many are not taking new patients. Worst of all, is that Ridgeville Animal Hospital COULD just work with Chewy. They choose not to. They COULD mail me my prescription. They choose not to. They COULD have done the right thing. They chose not to.

They charge 200 for a small rodent euthanasia and are unprofessional when it comes to rats and hamsters. They treat small rodents like lesser animals.

Always wonderful with our dogs.

My Gavin was brought in with horrible kidney stone. He was literally on his death bed. The vet and team worked on him all night and saved his young life!! I couldn't be more thankful for all the love they gave him while he was there!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I have an elderly dog who had hit his face and knocked a tooth sideways! There was also jaw bone showing. Obviously bone was broken. 2 other vets had looked at him and said that they couldn't do anything for him. Because of his age and because they didn't know the extent of the damages. In elderly dogs you do the xrays at the time of service to minimize the bad affects of putting them under.This Obviously was an emergency and even the emergency animal hospital couldn't do anything for him. The event happened over the weekend. Ridgeville animal hospital saw my dog on Monday and did his surgery on tuesday!!!! Can you imagine! Most places are so backed up, but they saw the urgency and acted with urgency!My dog also does not handle being in a cage well, or being confined at all. They set up a room for me to sit with him to keep him calm the entire time, except for the actual surgery itself. As soon as they woke him up he tried to jump from the doggie stretcher and escape. This dog also uses a wheelchair, just to give you an idea of how bad he does not want to be at the vets. He was also still heavily sedated and wasn't going to make it far anyway!They were absolutely amazing! And the cost of his surgery was so cheap I was in shock. For in being an emergency I was expecting to pay thousands. And it was no where close to that amount!I highly recommend this place! They are caring, know what they are doing, they act well in emergency situations and are very accommodating for special needs animals!

Best place to take your fur babies. They really care!!!

Took my cat Chunk in as a emergency. Not holding down food or drinking. This place did no x-rays or blood work on my boy. Stated just by looking at him and feeling his stomach that he had pneumonia. Gave him some pills. Did not work. Took him again. Gave him different medicine, still no x-rays or blood work. Finally took him to another vet. They did x-rays and we found out that he had a terminal illness and has been in pain. If I could I would she North Ridgeville Animal for the pain and suffering me and my chunk went thru. We ended up putting him to rest. Please if you read this don't take your animals to this place!!!

It was great. Dr. Belcik and assistants were absolutely great with our two girls Sadie and Lulu (shihtzu's)Everybody is so friendly. Very good experience.

Very nice cares about my dog

My boyfriend and I rushed our seizing 14 yr old boston terrier here last week (7/13/21). We had called before hand and they told us to pull up front and call them. We did. Little did we know we were at the wrong place! The staff had no idea we were coming, yet they took her right in and began to help her. We had to say goodbye to our baby that day. But the staff here was wonderful! It was meant to be, I would choose them over & over. If we decide to have another some day, we’ll definitely take them to Dr. Croos and the rest of the wonderful staff.

My dog needed his K9 tooth removed, which I was very nervous about, but Dr Cross did an amazing job and was so thorough! My only complaint is I wish I would’ve gotten to speak with her after the surgery, but the way she was with explaining our options and the surgery, and how great the surgery went, it was worth it! ???? super affordable as well.

The team at North Ridgeville Animal Hospital are incredible. They’re caring and compassionate and I couldn’t appreciate them more for their kindness during a most difficult time. I did not make and appointment, I did not call ahead, I did not follow the rules of texting from my parking spot. I literally marched in with my cat who was not doing well, tears in my eyes, and they took me immediately with open arms. They cared for my pet as if it were their own and I cannot thank them enough. Seriously. Thank you all for being YOU.

Been coming here for years for my kitties (even my childhood cat) and the staff treats them so kindly and their services are very affordable.

Dr Ziemba and her staff are highly trained and very warm individuals. My chiuawa is a biter with new people, but due to their patience & loving touch, he was not caught off guard and he actually behaved himself like a little gentleman!! They are highly trained and handled both of my small dogs with warm & caring hands!!

Best place to take a animal that you find in distress of any kind. They go above and beyond for those animals.

Have always found the staff and the doctors to be friendly and knowledgeable. They take great care of my dog. When we lost our elder dog they made a terrible time as easy as they could. Their compassion was appreciated.

Everyone from the front desk to the vet doctors are so professional ???? they showed how much they cared for our pets. I feel very confident and comfortable knowing I can bring my babies in for their chk up. They answered every questions without giving me hard words that I cant understand lol. But I was grateful they explained to me simple answer. Thank you and keep smiling

Very friendly doctor and staff

They was able to get my cat in the next day. Once we left they had her eating and acting like herself again. I would recommend.

Excellent place. The staff and vet here are so friendly, helpful and kind.They always take their time with you with any questions or concerns you may have. They don't treat you like you're a walking ATM like some other places do. My fur kid doesn't seem to mind it here either. Thank you all and please keep up the great job you are all doing.
